Dance 

Dance and creative movement are the fully realized forms of music. "Movement awakens and activates many of our mental capacities.  Movement integrates and anchors new information and experience into our neural networks and movement is vital to all the actions by which we embody and express our learning, our understanding, and ourselves."(Hannaford 2005,107).

Dance is rhythmic and melodic in a physical form.  It provides an effective tool to develop fine and gross motor skills, building muscle tone, flexibility, coordination, balance, directional skills, and listening.  Creative Kids Preschool creative movement and dance classes also cultivate creative expression as story telling takes physical form with props and music.   

Creative Kids Students receive a dance class, taught by our BYPC specialists.  BYPC's full dance schedule is available here, students may register for more dance classes at an additional cost.
